Plant It Wild is a (independent non-profit with 501(c)(3) status) native plant organization based in Benzie and Manistee Counties.
Our Mission is to foster greater awareness and appreciation of the fragile natural environment of our region. Through direct efforts, we work to preserve, protect and promote the natural beauty of the area and its plant communities.
Our calendar runs from late April through September and include 5 monthly Programs offered in person and via Zoom plus Field Trips to various locations throughout our region. Programs are held at the Mills Community House, 891 Michigan Ave. Benzonia, MI, 49616. All of Plant It Wild’s programming is offered to the public at no charge.
Information on all of our Programs and Field Trips can be found on our Calendar of Events page page and on our Facebook page.
We rely on memberships and donations to host educational programs for the public about the importance of native plants and promoting the use of native plant species in the home landscape. Join us! We appreciate your support.
